I picked it up because I was going to start shooting Revolver in USPSA but that never happened (besides, a Python is just plain cool)! Every Python made was a product of the Colt custom shop so this thing is smooth and the trigger is excellent. The only issue with this gun are 3 blemishes in the finish, one on the left side of the barrel at the muzzle and the other two on the right side on the barrel lug. I do not know what caused them, it was that way when I got it. I have take close-ups of the blemishes. This would be a $1400 gun if not for the blemishes in the finish, it is a bargain at $650.
