<p class=MsoNormal>I am the 2<sup>nd</sup> owner of this Colt Gold Cup. This gun

is a shooter!!! <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class=MsoNormal>All mods were done by the prior owner with the exception of

a new rear sight assembly which I installed (old one had bad detents). This is

a series 80 but all the 80 stuff was removed so it functions as a series 70

(old parts included). The gun is bright stainless and the finish is 90-95%. A

competition hammer/sear/disconnector, ambi-safety, and beaver tail to match the

bright stainless have been added. I have run ball and SWC ammo thru the gun

with 100% reliability. The only bad news is that the prior owner had a less

than competent buddy do some checkering on the front strap and under the

trigger guard, works great but looks like it was done by an amateur. Gun comes

with original case, manual, and one Colt magazine….$750. If it

weren’t for the checkering job this thing would be selling for twice
