89. This morning, it was reported by a GCO member that the
Governor's office is not receiving very many telephone calls regarding HB
89. Here is the pertinent portion of his report:</span></p>

Governor to sign HB89 into law, I gave my usual thanks for taking what must
be one of a great many calls. Instead of the usual (surprised) "you're
welcome," this gentleman's comment was, "<b>Actually, I haven't gotten

<p><span style="font-size: medium;">That statement by a member of the
Governor's staff is a matter for concern today, as tomorrow is the
deadline for the Governor's decision. Can <i>you</i> do something about
this today and tomorrow? Can you ask the Governor to sign HB
89?</span></p>

call?</span></p>
