Fellow shooters and traders - this will be the last call to action on this.
Either it becomes law tomorrow or we go yet another year with no meaningful
reform in your firearms rights in Georgia.
Do your part today. And tomorrow. Then wake up on Thursday knowing you
helped make a difference.

Dear GCO Member,
Tomorrow is the deadline for the Governor to decide on HB 89. This morning,
it was reported by a GCO member that the Governor's office is not receiving
very many telephone calls regarding HB 89. Here is the pertinent portion of
his report:
After asking him to pass a request to the Governor to sign HB89 into law, I
gave my usual thanks for taking what must be one of a great many calls.
Instead of the usual (surprised) "you're welcome," this gentleman's comment
was, "Actually, I haven't gotten many."
That statement by a member of the Governor's staff is a matter for concern
today, as tomorrow is the deadline for the Governor's decision. Can you do
something about this today and tomorrow? Can you ask the Governor to sign
HB 89?
Can your friends and relatives call?
Is there anything more important you can be doing today and tomorrow for the
future of your right to bear arms?

As always, please exercise extreme courtesy and self restraint in dealing
with Gov. Perdue's office.
HB 89 will remove restaurants that serve alcohol, mass transit, State Parks,
and WMAs from Georgia's places off limits list!
If you share this goal, then today is the day for you to act! Please
contact the Governor and urge others to do the same.
